Introducing the 2026 RMWQAA Scholarship Winner:

Bridget Goddard

My name is Bridget Goddard. I am currently working as a senior lead hydrologic technician for the National Park Service at Curecanti National Recreation Area, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. I am a graduate student at Western Colorado University completing a Masters in Ecology with a focus on aquatic ecology. Specifically, I’m interested in monitoring the health of our waterways through water quality sampling and macroinvertebrate research. Outside of academics and my professional career, I am highly engaged in outdoor recreation, including mountain biking, hiking, climbing, rafting, skiing, and trail running. My personal hobbies include creating black-and-white wildlife artwork, birding, and wildlife photography, all of which reflect my interest in nature and conservation.
